Dr. Jemina Liverman,
DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Founder & CEO

Dr. Jemina “Jai” Liverman is a dual certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Founder of Saving & Changing Lives, LLC. She obtained her Master of Science Nursing degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016 from South University and she completed her Post Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from Maryville University. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University in 2021.

Dr. Liverman hails from the Hampton Roads area where she grew up in low-income housing while being raised by a teenage single mother.

As a teen mom herself and recovering addict, those factors influenced her drive to advocate for mental health in marginalized groups and to end the stigma not just in the African American community but among people from all walks of life.

Through her vision to serve others, her company Saving & Changing Lives was established in 2017 where the mission is “Changing Lives Through the Evolution of Wholistic Practice.”
